About the Artist/Instructor…..

Elizabeth Cornell Wilkin has loved art from when she was a little girl.  She has worked in many media, and now mostly focusses on instructing all ages in clay and drawing.  Elizabeth has a BA in Italian and Art from Wellesley College, and an MFA in Sculpture from the University of Pennsylvania.  She has received local, national and international recognition for her work in sculpture, pastels, clay, graphite drawing, oil painting, watercolor painting and egg tempera.  Her work is represented in many private collections and is inspired by people, nature, animals and cultures.

Elizabeth has volunteered with the BSA, and has taught CCD in Holy Trinity Parish.  She also directed Andover Chinese Cultural Outreach at Phillips Academy, Andover, MA and Korean Cultural Outreach at Andover, two programs run by students who instruct families with adopted children from China and Korea about their children’s heritage and culture.
